We have been in Denver for last nine days. We’re trying to find the perfect house that won’t require selling Nathan. I think we’re getting closer and as such I called United Airlines to change our flights. Do you know what it cost to change our full-priced tickets? $175. A PIECE. And that is the change fee plus fee for calling them. Only breaking down and calling them after I tried unsuccessfully to change them on the web and was instructed to call United. I’m pretty sure the instant pounding in my head as the automated man’s voice answered the phone was the start of an embolism. I hate United Airlines. Hate. Loathe. Now I have to go l rest as I fear my head may just pop clear freaking off thanks to United.

Ps. Did I mention that our flight on Tuesday does NOT have three seats together? Nor does it have two seats together. When I pointed out Nathan is under two and incapable of carrying and installing his carseat himself I was instructed to inquire at the airport. POP

  1. Have you been off-planet? All airlines have reduced flights and the number of airplanes they fly. No longer can you expect them to accomidate you on short notice. You are lucky to get the flight at all. Say goodbye to the old days, it’s just survival now for ‘all’ the airlines, not just United.
