Here are some shots of Little Dude’s room. There are a couple of small things we need to add, but overall I’m calling it done. Although I’m not really calling him done just yet. He gets a few more week’s of cooking time I hope. Without further ado…

Everyone should have a little personalization, doncha think?

What? Your cat doesn’t sleep on your baby’s changing pad?

This might be my favorite wall in the house. It’s amazing what you can do with tin stars on sale from Michael’s and a can of copper spray paint.

Excuse the silly armcovers that are all askew - I took nap there today. It rocks, swivels, and reclines almost completely flat. Oh and it’s filled with down. In short? It’s awesome.

The zero was David’s idea. I was going to do 1 - 9 in three rows of three to satisfy my visual instincts. Ladies, beware of the rocket scientists in your life! The bedding is my own creation - save the beautiful blanket from Jessika. We hated everything we saw in the stores. Why does it all have to be pink or blue? Blech. So I took matters into my own hands and now he’ll be swaddled in white cotton velvet and a java swirl. I made a matching quilt, but Jessika’s is so wonderful I’ve tossed mine into the top of the closet until it gets really cold. The teddy bear to right was hand-made by a secret pal. Wonderful!

And there! You’ve been all the way around the pinenut’s room. I’d say next time you’ll learn his name, but we’re still on Catherine with a “K” and the ultrasound proves that won’t work.

  3. Oh, what an awesome room. That copper wall with the stars is sooooo beautiful. Would make a person dream to gaze at it.

I want to take a nap in that chair.

Nicely done room, and a great tour.
