We’re going into the city tonight and I pulled together a cute ensemble of a red sweater with a plunging neckline, black skirt with tights and knee high boots with four-inch heels. Um, I have to do the rubber band trick with my pants because I’m not ready to succumb to maternity clothes just yet. Why did I think tights were a good idea? Right, because I am an idiot. Now, wear are my black fat pants?

You need a Bella Band or two! My pregnant friends have all sworn by these - you can wear your own pants and skirts faaaar into your pregnancy (Megan managed almost seven months):

Tights can be evil on a non-preggie body! Your story of your xmax stockings brings back memories. We had crocheted ones from my grandmother. My mom had them stored in her garage with the xmas stuff and they were stolen one year in my late 20’s. Those and the little angel that was seriously inexpensive was the other thing I will always remember! - She had that fake orange/brown hair and a white shimmery dress and a gold lamai (sp?) sparkly halo. Did your family ever have a flocked xmas tree back in the 70’s? My mom did it one year and it was sooooooo ugly -I hated it! She loved it! I’m gonna check my photos and post it on my blog!! Ahhhh the memories!
