You’re a mean one

I was so excited about being so far ahead in my Christmas shopping. Like I have a couple things to pick up for my Dad, but I know what they are and just need to get off my ever expanding butt and get them. I need to order the girl’s present and have it delivered. So really? Just David and Jessika. And I’m mostly done with David. Just need the good present. Alas, I am being thwarted at every. single. turn.

I picked out an amazing gift for Jessika. Clicked to checkout and by the time they added the shipping the total was almost $300!! And over 2/3 of that was SHIPPING! Whatever. Back to the drawing board.

The other day I saw a bunch of stuff for David. Small stuff. But stuff none the same. I held off on ordering it. By three days. And now? Now all of it gone! How can it all be gone? And if these are all gone then why, oh why, are they still on the front page of the site? Why are they on the site at all? Grrrr. I feel the Grinch inching in. Grrrr.

Edited to Add: And Amazon.com? Bite me. I’ve spent over a half an hour trying to order some freaking play doh. Pick a step in the ordering process and that’s where I get “We’re sorry!” and a lame suggestion to check my account to see if my order was placed. I’ve gotten all the way to the final submit screen before getting the freaking error. Grrr.
