Do you see my joy? Throw out today, and really I don’t believe it is going to get to be that warm today as it’s only 63 right now, and we’re not even looking at 75 degrees for ten whole days! I love me some autumn! And the trees on our street are starting to turn a beautiful orange on their way to a fire red color. Stunning. I think there might actually be some punkin huntin’ coming up soon! The joy! The glee!
In more joyful news, I made up the most incredibly macadamia nut encrusted sea scallops with this mango, pineapple, jalapeño salsa – again, I made up the recipe – for supper last night. It was fantastic to be creating in the kitchen again. Even if it then required two vicodin and twelve hours of sleep to make my foot and ankle calm back down. Tonight? Braised short ribs. To mushroom, or not to mushroom? That is the question. I think fresh key lime pie is in the plans as well. The joy!
When I am finished with this I think I shall line my felted purse and attached the handles. The hardware has been sitting here on my desk forever. It’s time to call it finished! Pictures later, I’m sure. In the meantime, new handbag! The glee!
