David had his wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. He’s like that woman that all pregnant woman hate – you know the one who doesn’t have any morning sickness and feels like sweetness and light from the beginning to the “twinges†of labor. He was in and out of the chair in less than an hour. He only took over-the-counter pain medications. And Sunday he actually stopped the pain medications because he didn’t “feel a thing.†I only have a little bit of hate for him. Okay, I have a lot of hate for him. What with the three weeks I spent recovering from having four impacted teeth pulled when I was eighteen. I’ll spare you the gory details; I’ll just reiterate I have my hate on.
Saturday we drove up and saw what I originally thought was the cutest house ever. Turns out it’s about an hour’s drive for David’s commute. Plus 1500 square feet downtown is completely different from 1500 square feet a half an hour from civilization. So the house hunt continues. However at a much slower pace since, and I’m afraid I’m going to jinx it and make it actually come true, we may NOT have settled with Lowe’s after all. Sigh.
We watched Ella Enchanted this weekend, because we all know I love me my princess movies. I do need to mention here that I do not like snakes. I do not like talking snakes. And I really do not like talking snakes in my princess movies. Seriously people. It’s a princess movie for Esmeralda’s sake! Talking snakes? Sheesh!
In good news I spent a major portion of my day working in the yard yesterday. I love working in the yard. More than I ever thought, I’m a city girl at heart, but I feel so calm and centered among my plants and trees and other living creatures. Except for the mole. That’s right, the mole. And not a hot mole, like Anderson Cooper. Nope. An actual mole. Who is digging up stuff in my yard. I have my hate on for him too. Although I more hate for him than I do David and his super-human power of healing. We got a funky sound thingy that is supposed to make the mole, and thus his holes, move to someone else’s yard. Cross your fingers.

Hey, Michelle–
Love the new look. I lurk on your blog at least once a day. Love how the yarn stays put while the other stuff scrolls! Way cool!
Enjoy your day!

Those blue flowers are so pretty. I wish I had a better green thumb…I have one plant, and it’s kinda dying. :(

No pain med because he just didn’t feel anything?! I have some pain I’d like to get rid of, if he’s available to contract out for the pain of other’s.
