Art!

As I mentioned below, my office space needs some art. So I made some. I’m calling it April in Paris. It is some of my favorite things. I started the collage out of paper that my Jessika brought me from a trip to NYC that is an old map of Paris. The next layer is a photo of a rose in our front yard. Next layer some copper paper I picked up at a paper store in Denver. Last layer? the paper that was wrapped around the first flowers ever sent to me by the boyrfriend six or so years ago. Mounted it on cardboard and framed it in a silver gilt frame I found when I cleaned out the closet that is now my office space. Total size is 16″ x 15.5″.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that at least part of the inspiration, if not all, came from canvases we spied at Tracey and Tim’s wedding in March.
