Creativewares is moving! Right now I stumble down the hall from bed and fall into my chair at my desk. My desk, which is in our liberry. For the new people, our liberry is actually our library that is painted a beautiful berry color. I love this room. However, I’m a slob. While this picture doesn’t show it (because, really, who takes a picture of a slobby mess that is their life and actually post it on the internet?) - it’s more of a place of yarn, paint, clay, fabric, sparkly pens, and more Countess Shell stuff than actual books and a comfy place to curl up. That is until the end of the week!

Yesterday I emptied the closet. Crikey we had a lot of CRAP! Two plastic garbage bags were purged. Yay for purging! Last night we took out / down the closet doors. Then David pulled all of the screws out of the wall that just spun when I tried to take out the wire closet organizing system. Then there was spackling! Lots of spackling! No, really. A lot of spackling. There might be more spackle than actual drywall at this point.

Next up came the carpet! And those pokey strips. Hate the pokey strips.

Today I’ll take a break from work for a bit and slap a couple of coats of taupe paint on the walls. That leaves just having David put a dozen or so planks of the hardwood floor down so that my chair doesn’t go “cathump!” off the edge of the current floor when I sit at my built-in desk. Next to my built-in storage cabinets. And built-in shelves.

A place for my art supplies! My graphics books! My client files! I could pee myself. Seriously. I’m more excited about this than Harry Connick Jr. singing to me on television this morning. And I needed a moment to myself after watching Harry Connick Jr.

  3. Yay! Secret Pal sighting #2! Totally a Mac person. All of my electronics must come in white and start with a lower case letter followed by an upper case letter.

  4. Pants -

The boyfriend stopped thinking it heaven month ago. But, it really is heaven to me. Except for the stepping on things. And the not being able to curl up on the sofa with a book. Or yarn. Or, well, anything.
