I should stop calling it the super-long wrap and start calling it the “I’m not yet sleepy.” wrap. I cast on the other day when I wasn’t yet sleepy and last night I picked it up because I wasn’t yet sleepy. I absolutely love the yarn. It’s soft and feels so wonderful in my hands. I highly recommend the 100% cotton Nature Cotton. The fade in and out of blue reminds me of a well loved beach something or other. That’s a good thing since David’s stepmom lives at the beach. No, really. On the coast in North Carolina. Anyway, it’s knitting up much larger than I had anticipated when I bought the yarn so it looks like I’ll have at least a hank left over! Suggestions for its use?

We filled up the truck this weekend and by “we” I mean David filled up the truck this weekend. While he did the manual labor part I was sitting pretty as I am often wont to do. As I sat serenely I noticed a banner over the front door of the station advertising lunch. Two large hot dogs and a medium pop for $2.69. A gallon of gas? $3.05. Yes people it’s cheaper to buy lunch for to people than a gallon of gas. We skipped the special, as I don’t eat dogs - hot or otherwise - unless I’m sitting in the stands at a Colorado Rockies game.

They promise me tomorrow we will have sun. I don’t know who “they” are and they are often wrong. However, I love me some promises so I’m going to expect to wake up to sunshine!
