I am not allowed to buy anymore yarn.
The last time I went down to see my Grumpa I started cleaning out my Grandmother’s craft room. She literally had over 1000 skeins of unused yarn. Granted 90% of it was acrylic worsted weight, but it filled many, many bags. David watched bugged eyed. I promised I would never, ever collect so much yarn. In fact, I promised that I would never out grow the plastic storage box under our bed.
Sigh. I’m such a big fat liar. I’ve out grown the plastic box. I’ve out grown the box I’ve stashed in the liberry closet. And this afternoon I “won” twelve skeins of chenille on eBay.
Don’t get me wrong, I have patterns for all this yarn. I just don’t have enough time and, well, storage space. Just call me a big fat liar. David is going to when this next batch shows up.
